Theatre hall in a new dress
The theatre in Meissen has existed for over 170 in the city’s former Gewandhaus (warehouse of the clothmakers’ guild), but since the 1960s it has only been a guest theatre without its own ensemble. The theartre was flooded twice, in 2003 and 2013, before being renovated and reopened.
The theatre hall was also extensively modernised in 2022 as part of a refurbishment required for fire safety reasons. The extremely flexible LED-Flow was chosen to illuminate the theatre ceiling and the curved ceiling elements.
With the three-sided light emissioon, perfect light homogeneity in both the linear and circular versions and RGB control, the theatre hall now shines in any desired colour if required.
LED-Flow | Flexible luminaire
The LED-Flow is a flexible light line that can be bent in various directions and has a number of special options. It can be mounted with a magnetic holder so that the contour of the luminaire is visible but not its mounting. The encapsulation colour can also be freely selected, allowing the luminaire to set an accent even when switched off.
It can be used both indoors and outdoors and can be integrated into small applications such as building automation systems.
